When we started working together, the Chassis team had been selling desks with an online store for 2 years. Using the catalog that lived on Shopify, we designed and built a new shopping experience with a stylish digital take on their new branding system.

A growing market for them was customization of desk dimensions. We built a suite of features to allow customers to turn any design into a custom piece, fit for their space. Once custom mode is engaged, the site flips colors and provides all new options to select from.

A key part of our refreshed strategy was ensuring Chassis could do collaborations with brands and solo artists while making the product pages feel special. We embraced the array of colors in the desks to allow these collaboration pages to sing. With a wide variety of brands and artists in the pipeline, we knew the system had to be endless – and endlessly joyful.

One theme of the rebrand was to embrace the play that happens at desks. We imbued the site with toys and small animations to bring levity to the shopping experience, in this spirit. With scroll animations and interactive modules, we wanted to bring some surprise and delight to visitors’ days.
